The actor is never off screen. A single large portrait stands down the left of the window for the whole visit, and the pages open and close in the pale field beside it. The menu across the top switches which one is showing: nothing scrolls from one page to the next, one panel simply replaces another, so the portrait never moves and the actor stays in frame whatever the visitor is reading. Each panel is headed by its own name in widely spaced capitals with a hairline running out to the edge, and the page you are reading is marked in your own color in the menu. The panels are a walk of your menu, so the design has no built-in list of sections and shows exactly the pages you have switched on.
